The Hurva Synagogue - View from Amon Hanaziv Promenade.
The Hurva synagogue with it's modest white dome, has been now been rebuilt for the 3rd time. It was reopened on March 15 this year.
Initially the Hurva was built by disciples of Rabbi Judah Hahasid in the early 18th century and was destroyed twice. It was last razed by the Jordanian Legions in 1948.
