Givat Hnanya - Abu Tor אבו טור - גבעת חנניה - Neighborhood of Jerusalem

Abu Tor  now renamed Givat Hnanya,  situated to the south of the old city of Jerusalem.

Divided by the Armistice Line between the years 1948 to 1967.

To the west, Abu Tor was governed by the Israelis, to the East, the Jordanians.

Unified under Israeli rule, the neighborhood remains divided, now by a road between the Jewish quarter on the upper slopes of the hill and the Arab quarter on the lower slopes.  (Real Estate prices are high on either side).
